Exciting news from the Twitter-sphere today! @PlazaAndMainSt posted a notice that the Fairwinds Tower would be used for an exciting theme park announcement tomorrow. The notice can be seen below.
The first thing that came to mind was the Transformers decal that was put on the Staples Center last year in LA for the opening of Transformers the Ride in USH, which can be seen below.
Marc (PlazaAndMainSt) has said that is indeed what it is as it's already a 1/3 of the way done! So there we are! Some Transformers news tomorrow! Follow @Parkscope for the latest and prepare for battle!

Disney Permit Update: Backlot Express Construction and other DHS Work
So, a few notice of commencements came up for Disney today, all the interesting ones dealing with Disney Hollywood Studios. Since the rumors of major work coming to this park are hot an heavy, I figured I would report on them.
The most interesting one is one for general construction at the Backlot Express, which can be seen below along with the area of work being done. With people begging for a Star Wars land over here and the recent closure of the parades at DHS, the main one of which passes by a small walkway near the Backlot Express, maybe something is in the works? Of course, it could amount to a simple refurb or even something smaller than that.
Along with this NOC is another for electrical work in shops along the right side of Sunset Boulevard and the shop at the end of Hollywood Boulevard on the Echo Lake side.
As always, remember to follow Parkscope on Twitter for more information.
